My photography is not grand in scale; there are no movie stars, no extreme sports, no fashion shows. I love the way light and reflections create a mood, how architecture and objects create a space, and how people and stories bring everything together.

What makes my approach unique? For starters, I have a deep connection to film photography. There's something about shooting on film that forces me to slow down and immerse myself in the moment. It's not about instant gratification; you never know if you really got the shot and you can’t shoot and reshoot until you get it right. Film forces you to embrace its timeline and its process, complete with its imperfections.

I also work almost exclusively with prime lenses. Their fixed focal lengths, unique character, and inherent quirkiness teach me to work within constraints. It’s not uncommon for me to head out for weeks with one lens and camera combination; getting to know it, learning what it does really well, and leaning into those limitations. This is how I play, trying something, failing, and trying again.
